Lucas Tozzi, a surf photographer on the crest of the wave

Lucas Tozzi was born in Argentina, but he considers himself a Malagan adopted by Cádiz. He will go down in history for becoming the best, in 2012, among the top fifteen surf photographers in the world. His pictures are so spectacular that they have been plagiarized by Internet users in several occasions. His most popular picture is the one of best wave in Nazaré beach, in Portugal. This picture entered the rank of the top hundred pictures without Photoshop. Despite this, Tozzi is an advocate for photo editing, as he claims that it is the photographic processing of this century.

Rafael Guerrero, an entrepreneurial adventure through active tourism

Rafael is a technician, but his real passion is for extreme sports, particularly canyoning. Since 2013 he has been one of the heads of the active tourism business Vivak Nature which, located in Granada, has been the first and only ICOpro centre in Spain. ICOpro is an international canyoning organisation based in many different countries that’s looking for training on cliffs at an international standard.

Cuqui Bravo, running a bookshop converted into a starting point for any journey

In Malaga, we find a bookshop with a difference. Cuqui Bravo runs ‘Mapas y Compañía’ (‘Maps and Company’) which specialises in travel and has turned into a reference point for beginning a new one. It is also known for its collection of globes, one of the biggest in Spain, with products originating from various countries. It is the headquarters for Andalusia’s Spanish Geographical Society and in its walls the Camino de Santiago Friends Association of Malaga was born.

Emilio Pérez, a critical view of the world through the engraving technique

Emilio Javier Pérez, born in Almería, has a degree in Fine Arts and loved painting since he was a boy. Painting was his great passion, however, this changed when a professor of the School of Art of Almería taught him the engraving technique. He has two passions now that help him to express his critical view of the world, what he calls ‘oneiric surrealism’. He has created almost 10,000 works, which have been exhibited in Spain, Germany, Italy or the United States. He has participated in 48 individual and 50 collective exhibitions.
