Loading...The Church of San Lorenzo in Úbeda (Jaén) has opened its doors after several decades abandoned. It has had an eventful life since it closed as a place of worship in the first third of the 20th Century; it became a hostel for the homeless, a silo for cereal storage, and an artisan workshop, amongst other things. In 2013 it was about to collapse, but a neighbourhood group made a desperate plea. At the moment, three brothers have just set up the Huerta de San Antonio Foundation and have begun the restoration.
