Antonio González, unveiling the secrets of the Earth through speleology

Antonio González from Almería was a teenager when, in the village of Sorbas he took part in the discovery of large caves which turned the Karst plaster of the area into the most important in the world. He currently takes part in several cave studies both in Spain and South America. He has collaborated on 40 books and has written one about the depths of the Earth in the shire of los Vélez. He is a Head Scientist at the Geology and Mining Institute of Spain, President of the Speleology Association of Vélez, and Founding Partner of the Spanish Society of Speleology and Karst Science.
