Daniel Blanco, a brave writer who thrills Antonio Gala

Daniel Blanco is from Moguer, Huelva, and the prestigious poet Antonio Gala says that “his style is thrilling. A writer, a journalist and curious by nature, he expresses his peculiar view of the world in his books. His favourite work is the book ‘Los pecados de verano’ (‘The summer sins’), a novel set in the repressive Spain of the 50’s, and which enabled him to recover the memories of the days of his grandparents. He has won thirty national literary awards in Spain. Among them, the most prestigious is the Jaén Prize, which he received in 2012 for ‘El secreto del amor’ (‘The secret of love’).
