Shenaida Mérida, representing Spain in world archery

Shenaida Mérida begun to practise archery with the help of her father, and she was pretty good at it. In fact, it wasn’t long before she won her first competition. At the age of 15, she won a silver medal in a World competition held in Italy. Shenaida Mérida, born in Nívar (Granada) competes in the field archery modality. After she won the silver medal in 2009, she has been runner-up in the European Championship individually and in teams, and runner-up in the World Championship in teams. She dreams about winning the gold medal in a World competition.
