Lucía Utrilla, a skier that glides on the track of personal success

Lucía Utrilla, from Seville, has reached the top of Spanish alpine skiing. With perseverance, this young sportswoman has achieved to become the Adapted Alpine Skiing Champion of Spain. She earned this title after winning the gold medal in a trial held in Cerler. In previous Championships of Spain, she had already won the silver medal in the Skills category in Andorra in 2014, and a bronze in the same category in Sierra Nevada in 2010. In the Santiveri Trophy of 2014, she won the silver medal in the Intellectual Disability Category, and the award to the Best Progress in Sports of the season. Lucía Utrilla has autism, however, thanks to her work and the support of her family, she has proved that barriers don’t exist for her.
