Francisco Macías, biochemical communication between plants to create anticancer molecules

Francisco Macías is professor of Organic Chemistry and directs the Allelopathy Group of the University of Cádiz. This research field consists of the study of biochemical communication between plants. Their research activities have permitted developing new anticancer compounds. Francisco Macías received the Molisch Award in 2011, the greatest international recognition in Allelopathy.
