Telemedicine is a usual practise for the early detection of melanomas from the family doctor’s office. The doctor takes pictures of the mole with a digital camera and with a dermatoscope. Then, he sends them to a specialist through the Intranet, who will give a diagnose within 24 and 48 hours.
