A radar system developed in Andalusia avoids bird strike against wind turbines
The wind farm El Pino at Los Barrios in Cádiz, is the first one where a radar system certified by NASA is being tested by the Andalusian company Torsa. When radars detect a bird they emit an alert sign to stop wind turbines manually, although in the next phase it will be done automatically.
A Sevilian dance company offers flamenco to the deaf community
The Gero Domínguez Flamenco Company has created the first show adapted to people with hearing problems. Subtitles allow them following the lyrics of the songs and a device raises the audio signal sound received by the public using hearing aids or internal implants.
