Loading...This fall detector is the result of the work of scientists from the Biomedical Engineering Research Group from the University of Seville. It is a small device that is place on the user’s back. The system, connected to a mobile app, detects when the person who wears it falls, and automatically sends an alert to the emergency services. Its goal is offering better assistance to elders when they suffer an accident at home. If it is launched in the market, its estimated price is below 20 euros.
