Loading...The children’s theatre company Traseltelón, from Seville, is playing a new version of Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet. In this version Montagues and Capulets reach an agreement and Romeo and Juliet are not dying. Love triumphs, yes, but it is a healthy and happy love. The play is directed by Cristina Pérez Nollés and it aims to combat the sexist messages that young people constantly receive through arts and the media. Traseltelón was born in the theatre workshop of the Nuestra Señora de los Reyes School.
