Loading...When he was a boy, he loved to build things with his own hands and was fascinated by astronomy. Now his dreams have come true through robotics. Ramón González was born in the village of Viator, Almería, and in 2017 he received the Medal of Andalusia as recognition to the work he has developed in the fields of automatic systems for mobile robots and autonomous vehicles.
He has a degree in Computing from the University of Almería and a PhD in Robotics. After working as a professor in the University of Zaragoza, in 2014 he began to work for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. There he has developed R&D projects for NASA, regarding possible missions to Mars, as well as simulation software for NATO’s military vehicles.
