Rodríguez Manfredi, Spanish technology at NASA to explore Mars with Curiosity

José Antonio Rodríguez Manfredi from Aznalcázar in Seville cried with happiness when Curiosity, the rover sent by NASA, touched the surface of Mars in 2012. And with good reason. Together with his team at the Spanish Astrobiology Centre, he invested years of work in the development of REMS, the system used by this robotised vehicle to study the atmosphere on the Red Planet. Currently, this telecommunications engineer develops instruments for NASA missions to Mars from for 2016 and 2020.
