Loading...From Pinos Puente in Granada, the social anthropologist José Francisco Ruiz decided to focus his research on his hometown. His work on the irrigation systems of La Vega de Granada has achieved recognition in Spain having won a third place Marqués de Lozoya Award for cultural research given out by the Ministry for Education, Culture and Sport. These irrigation systems have been exported to South America, where this young researcher continues his work.
