Ángeles Mora, poetry about everyday life to reveal the hidden spirit of words

Ángeles Mora was born in Cordoba and lives in Granada. She is the winner of the 2016 National Poetry Award in Spain for her work ‘Fictions for an Autobiography’, for which she also won the National Critics’ Award for Literature in 2015. In her poems she likes to write about everyday things, and her favourite authors include Claribel Alegría, Rosalía de Castro and Emily Dickinson.
